Three arrested in Salmo robbery

Three people have been arrested in connection with the robbery at a Salmo store late last month.

RCMP say two youth and one adult were arrested.

One of the youth was released on strict conditions but has breached those and is now back in custody.

The adult and other youth have been released from custody under conditions and are expected to appear in court in May.

Investigators and the police dog unit were involved in this file.

Police originally reported that a hooded man, who appeared to be holding a hand gun, demanded cash from a female employee at piper’s store.

Before any money was handed over he fled.
