The Creston Lions Club has asked the town to partner in a Kindness Meter Initiative.
Vice-President Tom Mann says it’s an effective way for service groups to raise money.
The initiative sees old parking meters painted brightly and placed around town to fundraise for charities.
It’s been highly successful in Castlegar.
Council referred the request to town staff to include in an upcoming parking meter review.
