An initiative to boost the Creston Valley’s agri-food sector is gaining momentum.
The Fields Forward Program launched just over a month ago with a two day forum in Creston.
Coordinator Laura Hannant says a number of groups that were developed at the forum have hit the ground running.
Hannant says these include a Farmers’ Market impact study, food and farm heritage tours and work improving the transportation of food out of the Creston Valley.
The Fields Forward partnership connects businesses, groups and individuals dedicated to boosting the agri-food system.
