Future programming at the College of the Rockies’ Creston Campus was the focus of a meeting this week.
A room of over 50 people met with college officials for a brainstorming session.
Director of Regional Campus Operations, Leah Bradish says, as expected agriculture and ag-related training topped the list of suggestions.
A pending decision over the future of the ailing greenhouses at the campus prompted the college to organize the consultation.
Bradish says the price to fix the electrical and mechanical difficulties is estimated at about $165, 000.
She says an investment of that amount needs to ensure long-term programming around the greenhouses.
