Creston Town Staff has given the facts on universal water metering, and it’s now up to council to make a decision.
But that decision won’t be entertained for several years yet.
Here’s Councillor Kevin Boehmer.
Boehmer says the information doesn’t reflect any savings at this time.
Council approved two recommendations from staff with regards to universal water metering.
One sees all new housing starts required to be built ready for meters.
The other defers the decision on meters until the Town’s Master Water Plan is updated.
