Lumberjack show coming to Silver City Days

A big addition for Trail’s Silver City Days Festival in May.

Sponsor Atco Wood Products has secured an event for the festival which has garnered a great amount of fame in carnivals in Canada including Vancouver’s PNE, the West Coast Lumberjacks Exhibition.

City Councilor Sandy Santori says it’s important to make sure the forestry industry is represented at the four day festival.

Santori says a few events will be returning such as the sidewalk cafe, an assortment of food vendors near the Memorial Centre, and the popular grape-stomp.
