Jr Dragons Den expands

Calling all young entrepreneurs.

The Junior Dragons Den business competition, which has been going in our area for the last two years, has just launched across the whole Kootenays.

Revelstoke and Cranbrook are now onboard after seeing the success of the Trail event.

Coordinator John Reed, with Community Futures, says it’s all about giving youth an opportunity to see things through a business lens.

Grade 8 through to post-secondary students can submit an idea via the Junior Dragons Den website.

If they’re short-listed they get expert advice and training before pitching their idea in front of a live audience and judges in April.
