Experienced cooks in the area will be able to access the best possible training for their trade.
Starting February 15th, Selkirk College’s 10th Street campus in Nelson will offer Cook 3 training which is at the Red Seal level.
Bob Falle, Selkirk’s Chair for the School Of Hospitality, Tourism and Cosmetology, says the plethora of restaurants in the Queen City makes it important to try to retain professional cooks in our area.
Falle says this is the first time Selkirk has offered this level of expertise in culinary training.
