Slocan Lake search resumes Tuesday

The search for the bodies of three young man presumed drowned in Slocan Lake continues on Tuesday.

This 10 days after the canoe they were in capsized resulting in the death of a young woman.

Here’s RCMP Sergeant Darryl Little.

Vernon Search and Rescue had brought in a special remote underwater vehicle to help in the effort but were sent home over the weekend.

A private company out of Wisconin has been hired by the family to use similar technology that will also be on site.

The search has been scaled back with only one boat on the water and no dive team on site.
