Coroner ID’s GF pedestrian fatality

The pedestrian who was hit and killed near Grand Forks last week has been identified by the BC Coroners Office.

He was 84 year old Ivan Partridge, a local resident.

Partridge was walking along highway 3A near Grand Forks at about 10:45 Friday morning.

He wasn’t too far from 68th Avenue when he was hit by an oncoming vehicle and died at the scene.

The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate.
