Trail Airports receives Corrective Action Plan

Transport Canada has signed off on the Trail Regional Airport’s Corrective Action Plan.

This following the federal department’s audit of the facility that had four findings – one of which was major.

Airport Manager Don Goulard then had 30 days to submit the plan.

The audit revealed that about $50,000 of work needs to be done to the facility.

The City plans to ask for compensation from the RDKB – who they just bought the airport from.

Goulard says it will take about a year to complete the corrective action plan.
