Local Liberal hopes to take Kootenay-Columbia

With four days of campaigning to go, the Liberal candidate for Kootenay-Columbia is convinced this riding can go Liberal.

Traditionally this region is either Conservative or NDP.

But Don Johnston says leader Justin Trudeau is leading the national polls, the lead now strategic voting campaign is back-firing and he says people figure a Liberal vote could result in a local MP who may be part of a Liberal government.

The Liberals have launched a facebook ad attacking the strategic anybody but conservatives campaign of the lead now group.
