Four vehicle collision on Hway 3 explained

RCMP are shedding some light on that multi-vehicle accident on Highway 3 east of Castlegar Monday afternoon.

Sgt Laurel Matthew says a Jeep had stopped in the northbound lane, indicating it was going to turn left onto Tarrys road.The Jeep was then rear-ended by a Toyota Rav 4.

 

The 62 year old driver of the Jeep and the 49 year old driver of the Rav were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are considering pressing charges against the driver of the Rav .
