BC Mayors seek federal leadership on climate change

Federal election candidates in the province and their parties should outline their stance on climate change.

This from the BC Mayors Climate Leadership Council.

Rossland Mayor Kathy Moore is part of that.

She wants to see Canada’s leaders leave a proactive impression on international platforms.

Over 100 local governments across bc are implementing community-wide energy plans with goals of reducing greenhouse gases, conserving energy and building local economies.

The BC Mayors Council on climate change was formed six years ago to support local government leaders who address climate change in their communities.
