Green Party candidate selected

The Green Party has selected a rossland woman as their federal election candidate for the South Okanagan – West Kootenay riding.

Samantha Troy says she’s never been involved with a political party before.

She’s the shop steward for the Steelworkers Union at Red Mountain but also has a long background in tree planting.

Does she think she can get elected?

Troy supports the green’s willingness to work with other parties to achieve a civil and functioning parliament.
