Sculpturewalk unveiling this weekend

32 exhibits will be unveiled in Castlegar tomorrow as part of the 2014 Sculpturewalk.

The fifth edition of the arts walking tour through the City’s downtown will feature work from artists as far away as Belgium.

However, Executive Director Joy Barrett explains there is still a major local offering in the work people will be see.

Barrett explains the initiative is growing as there were 31 sculptures last year and 30 in 2012.

The works will be on display until winners are decided in the fall.

Past exhibits have been kept in the region by lease agreement made with Nelson and Rossland.
