In a double-dose of good news the Lower Kootenay Indian Band is buying Ainsworth Hot Springs and a large scale commercial zip line attraction is being built above Kokanee Creek Park.
Ducs says things are picking up.
Ducs says there is something magical and spiritual about Kootenay Lake and the mountains and both these recent tourism announcements tap into that.
