It has been an incredible season for Trail Smoke Eaters forward Jake Lucchini.
Lucchini’s 80 points in 57 games this season has earned him a nomination for the league’s Most Valuable Player.
Lucchini sits fourth in BCHL scoring and took over as Captain for the Smokies when Scott Davidson was traded.
He also earned an NCAA Division 1 scholarship from Michigan Tech University for next season.
Trail wraps up its regular season Saturday in Merritt.
