Trail Chamber of Commerce concerned about minimum wage increase

Trail’s Chamber of Commerce has concerns about the minimum wage increase in BC next month.
Executive director Audry Durham says they expected the change but hoped there would be a longer grace period.
She says the hospitality sector could face a burden with next month’s 50 cent increase and adds the extra costs will likely be paid for by the consumer.
The BC Government is transitioning towards a minimum wage of $15.00 an hour.
