A local pro hockey player has inked a new deal with the NHL’s New York Islanders.
Trail native Connor Jones has agreed to a one-year, two-way deal with the team.
Jones spend most of his time with the Islanders’ AHL affiliate, the Bridgeport Sound Tigers
He played four games for the Islanders last season where he recorded 2 PIM.
