Six small wildfires started in our area as a result of yesterday’s storms.
Karlie Shaugnessy with the Southeast Fire Centre says they’re burning near Queens Bay, New Denver, and Nakusp.
The largest is half a hectare but most are much smaller.
Firefighters are tackling all of them.
