Years of hard work has paid off for Trail Smoke Eaters forward Kale Howarth.
The hulking forward was selected by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 5th round of this year’s NHL entry draft.
Howarth had 58 points in 51 games with the Smokies last season and was the highest ranked BCHL player by NHL Central Scouting this year.
