The Village of Silverton is working towards getting the gallery open again.
Mayor Jason Clarke says they’ve received grant funding to help bring the building up to current fire code regulations.
The village gets $100,000 in Columbia Basin Trust built heritage funding.
Clarke says the goal is to have the gallery open by next summer.
