Kootenay Boundary Regional Fire Rescue crews responded to a house fire in Rossland yesterday.
Captain Glen Gallamore says crews were called around 4:30 pm to the 2,000 block of Happy Valley Road.
The cause of the fire is under investigation and the damage estimate is undetermined.
Gallamore says a homeowner was able to put out the blaze with a fire extinguisher.
