A quick response from the Castlegar Fire Department snuffed out a shed fire downtown Tuesday.
Chief Sam Lattanzio says it happened in the 700 block of 10th Avenue.
They were called at 8:50 pm.
The shed was destroyed and damage is estimated at $5,000.
One firefighter suffered a minor injury.
