This year’s Silver City Days Festival will kick off with the grand opening ceremony for the Columbia River Skywalk.
The event is being called “an evening passegiata”, which in Italian means “an evening stroll”.
The city’s Andrea Jolly says there will be speeches, a plaque reveal and a performance from the Trail Maple Leaf band.
It happens May 11 starting at 7pm.
