Castlegar residents can get a rebate on their utility tax by changing toilets.
Those who are flushing with a 13 litre model are invited to apply to the city’s toilet rebate program.
You’d have to install a locally bought 6 litre or dual flush toilet and follow protocol laid out by the city.
The program applies to installations in single and multi-familiy homes built before March 15, 2010.
