City to remove 2nd Street debris

The City of Castlegar will move ahead with remedial action to clean rubble left from the demolition of an old printing shop.

Connie Vecchio owns the 2nd Street property.

She says she had trouble meeting city-imposed time constraints to remove the debris.

Vecchio notified the city she wouldn’t be able to have the debris removed by the October 31 deadline.
