There will be no bus fees for the upcoming year in the Kootenay-Columbia School District.
This as SD20 has opted to accept a $242,000 funding injection from the BC Government to assist with transit requirements.
Chair Teri Ferworn says the district will continue to monitor transit usage.
SD20 was set to implement bus fees this year.
Those who already paid for the service will be refunded.
