The Columbia Basin Trust is reporting some encouraging financial numbers over 2015-2016.
Their fiscal year ended March 31st.
President and CEO Neil Muth says the trust generated over $48 million in revenue compared to $29 million in the same period last year.
Muth says the increase in revenue is due to the Waneta Expansion becoming fully operational as well as a new power sales agreement for the Arrow Lakes Generating Station.
The CBT’s annual surplus was over $10 million.
Last year it was $1 million.
