The underwater recovery team and search and rescue assisted Castlegar RCMP in finding a submerged car in lower Arrow Lake.
On Sunday a boater reported debris leading to the water indicated a vehicle might have fallen down an embankment.
RCMP Corporal Brett Turner says the car belonged to a mother of two.
Nobody was found in the vehicle which was 125 feet under the surface.
RCMP say the blue 2007 Dodge Caliber was likely pushed into the lake.
