The Kootenay Liaison for the Community Energy Association hopes to set guidelines for energy efficiency for developers in the area.
This as part of their Strategic Community Energy And Emissions Plan.
Trish Dehnel presented some of the program’s goals to Castlegar City Council recently.
She says part of the initiative is meant to create a more robust electric vehicle network in our region.
Over 3,000 electric vehicles have been purchased in BC since 2011.
