Local seniors and their families are invited to meet BC’s Senior’s Advocate Isobel Mackenzie today.
She will host a town hall style meeting at the Best Western in Nelson from 2 till 4pm today.
Mackenzie was appointed BC’s first Senior’s Advocate in 2014 and is responsible for monitoring services and for making recommendations for improvements to government.
She says she wants to hear from locals what is, and is not, working for seniors in the community.
